Three people are dead—including a 6-year-old girl—after a fire tore through an East Elmhurst house Wednesday afternoon.

The FDNY were called out to 23-49 93rd Street at about 4:11 p.m. where they pulled five people from the house. Three people were taken to area hospitals and pronounced dead—a 76-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 6-year-old girl. Two other victims—a 10-month-old boy and a 35-year-old woman—are clinging to life.
