The police have arrested a brother-and-sister duo in connection with the murder and burning of a man in Astoria Saturday.

Dawn Mcintosh, 46, of Queens, was arrested following the Saturday death of her boyfriend Shawn McWorter, 43, who she allegedly shot and killed after getting into an argument with him, police said.

Mcintosh, whose 21-year-old brother Donte Watkins was arrested, allegedly sought Watkins’ assistance to burn the remains so the victim could not be identified, police said.

On Saturday at about 7:00am, the police were called to 27-18 14th Street and discovered McWorter unconscious and on fire. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The police discovered that there were gunshots found on the left side of his body.

Mcintosh has been charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence.

Watkins has been charged with tampering with physical evidence.
