Chipotle Opens Second Astoria Location Today

Chipotle Mexican Grill opened a second location in Astoria today.

The fast-casual restaurant chain opened at 22-06 31st St. in a new building that also has T.J. Maxx as a tenant.

The restaurant is open every day from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers a selection of customizable burritos, tacos and more.

Chipotle opened a restaurant at 31-73 Steinway St. in Astoria in 2020.

The chain operates several locations in Queens, including at 26-16 Jackson Ave. in Long Island City; 87-10 Northern Blvd. in Jackson Heights; and 70-30 Austin St. in Forest Hills.

Surveillance photos released of gunman sought in murder of East Elmhurst woman: NYPD

The NYPD on Tuesday released surveillance images of the suspected gunman who allegedly shot a young woman to death inside her East Elmhurst home on the night of Friday, Sept. 12.

Police from the 115th Precinct in Jackson Heights responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 26-30 96th St. at 9:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found 21-year-old Dashanna Donovan with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.
