April 3, 2019 By Meghan Sackman

A mini school bus and multiple cars collided at the foot of the RFK bridge, according to police and news sources.

A mini school bus was knocked over on its side this morning at 5:53 a.m. on the eastbound side of Hoyt Avenue near the RFK Bridge, according to FDNY.

No children were on the school bus at the time of the crash, according to NYPD.

The crash allegedly happened after a stolen truck hit a car, causing the bus to crash into another car, according to NY1 which posted a video of the incident to twitter.

There were no major injuries, according to FDNY, but one person was transported to Elmhurst Hospital and one was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in Queens for treatment for minor injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
