Top-prize-winning Take 5 ticket sold at Astoria store

The New York Lottery announced Tuesday that a top-prize-winning ticket for the Take 5 evening drawing was sold Monday, Apr. 22, at an Astoria store.

The ticket, valued at $33,378, was sold at Metrocare Pharmacy Inc., located at 21-12 36th Ave.

The winning Take 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1-39. The drawing is televised twice a day, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Those with the winning numbers are eligible to claim their prize up to one year after the date of the drawing.
