The police released photos Monday of three suspects who allegedly beat up and robbed a man in Astoria last month.
The group, according to police, attacked a 58-year-old man in the vicinity of Astoria Boulevard and 22nd Street on Oct. 3 at around 12:30 a.m.
The suspects punched and kicked the victim in the face before taking his cellphone from his pants pocket, police said. They then fled the scene with the phone in an unknown direction.
The victim was transferred to Cornell Hospital with a broken nose along with swelling and bruising to his face.
The photos were taken from the location of the attack.
Anyone with information in regard to the identity of the suspects is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

If the picture is of the suspect, then somebody knows who it is and he’s probably here illegally. If it’s the victim, I hope he’s okay!
Legal or illegal does not matter anymore.
