Thieves Load Up Shopping Carts with Pain Relievers, Walk Out of BJ’s Wholesale Club With $8K in Merchandise: NYPD

Suspects (DCPI)

March 16, 2021 By Christian Murray

The police are looking for two suspects who loaded up their shopping carts with pain relievers and walked out of BJ’s Wholesale Club on 48th Street without paying.

The alleged thieves, a male and a female, walked into the 34-60 48th St. store at around 8:10 p.m. on Friday and placed thousands of dollars worth of Advil, Tylenol and Pepcid in their respective carts.

They then exited the store via the emergency exit and the pair were last seen in a dark-colored four-door sedan.

Police said the merchandise was valued at close to $8,000.

The police released a photo and video of the suspects taken from the store. The store is new to the area, having opened in January.

Anyone with information in regard to the theft is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

We the people

AOC’s poor folks who are in 8K worth of pain.. They probably couldn’t pay rent, couldn’t buy bread and wanted to suppress the pain. Their courage is mind blowing. They know that they will be let go even if they get caught. Crime pays in NYC. An innocent mother was killed by shooters just a few blocks away from this location just a few days ago. Progressives must be proud of their agenda. You reap what you sow. Sorry for the honest folks who are trying to make a decent living.

Crime in our neighborhood is rampant and our politicians (Gianaris, Ramos,, Mamdani and wannabe Caban) are ignoring the problem. We need term limits for all politicians. These politicians own the system and there is no getting them out, no matter what.
