Assembly Member Aravella Simotas will host her fourth annual western Queens Town Hall meeting with the United Community Civic Association on May 12.

The Town Hall takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Museum of the Moving Image, 36-01 35th Ave.

The yearly event aims to open discussion on a range of community topics with representatives from public agencies and local institutions. Simotas’ office noted that in past years, attendees have asked about everything from traffic safety to garbage pickup to airport issues.

As of Thursday, numerous agencies and companies have committed to attending this year’s Town Hall. These include the MTA, Con Edison, Mount Sinai Queens, the Department of City Planning, the Parks Department, the Sanitation Department, the 114 Precinct and Community Board 1.

Simotas’ office could not immediately confirm which other elected officials would be attending.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for free refreshments, provided by Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Co.
