An 11-year-old girl was allegedly threatened with rape and murder after being dragged down an alleyway by a shoeless pervert in Jackson Heights Sunday morning, according to police.

The girl was walking on her own to a grocery store in the vicinity of 86th Street and Northern Boulevard at around 8:45 a.m. when the man grabbed her from behind and pulled her into an alleyway, police said.

The 11-year-old had her mask swiped off her face by the suspect who then pinned her down on the ground and pressed a sharp metal object against her throat before demanding to know her age, cops said.

When the terrified girl revealed her age, the suspect replied, “damn I had hoped you were 13.”

He then threatened the victim by saying, “If you tell anybody about this I will rape you or I will kill you.”

The suspect then stole the girl’s house keys and $20 cash before fleeing on foot northbound on 86th Street, police said.

The girl suffered a laceration to her throat and was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst. Her physical injuries were not life threatening, according to police.

The suspect is described as Hispanic and aged in his 20s. He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black top and a black hat.

Surveillance footage released by police shows the assailant running down the street in his socks.

Anyone with information in regard to the identity of this individual is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

LaGuardia crowned best airport in United States by Forbes Travel Guide following $8 billion transformation

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey proudly announced on Oct. 22 that Forbes Travel Guide selected LaGuardia Airport as the best airport in the United States a decade after then-Vice President Joe Biden likened the transportation hub to one that would be found in a third-world nation in a speech lamenting the state of infrastructure in America.

Forbes released its first Verified Air Travel Awards based on a survey of 5,000 hospitality and travel experts and the guide’s most well-traveled fliers. The recognition is the latest in a long list of accolades given to LaGuardia throughout the course of the airport’s historic $8 billion transformation.
