A second suspect – and reputed gang member – has been arrested and charged in relation to the fatal shooting of a 54-year-old man in broad daylight in Long Island City in July.

Delante Aiken, 18, who lives at the Ravenswood Houses NYCHA development in Astoria, was allegedly involved in the shooting death of George Rosa, who was hit by a stray bullet in the abdomen while walking his dog at around 11:20 a.m. on July 25.

Aiken was arrested by police Wednesday and charged with murder and criminal possession of a loaded firearm, according to police.

A 17-year-old, who police say also played a role in Rosa’s death, was arrested and charged in August with murder and firearm charges and is currently being held without bail.

Cops have yet to name which of the two teens fired the fatal shot.

At the time of the incident, Rosa was walking his dog near the intersection of 22th Street and 40th Avenue – just two blocks from where he lived –  when he heard a popping sound and suddenly realized he was bleeding from his stomach.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died about a month later from the gunshot wound.

Cops believe that Rosa, a teacher, was an unintended target of a gang dispute when he was hit by the stray bullet.

The politicians are busy with tossing homeless around, building bike lanes and opening the comedy clubs while gangbangers, looters are killing the people inside their homes, on the street and taking over the city. I guess people’s lives do not matter even if the person is a minority and a teacher.
