Queensbridge Houses Man, 81, Missing

Police are searching for an 81-year-old Astoria man who has been missing since Saturday morning.

Bernard Berstford was last seen inside of his building at 40-03 Vernon Blvd. at 10 a.m., police say.

Berstford is described as black and about 6 feet 3 inches tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
