Police search for man who ‘forcibly touched’ four women’s buttocks

The police are looking for a man who forcibly touched four women’s buttocks in Astoria on Tuesday, May 6.

The suspect, believed to be a Hispanic man in his late 20s, approached his victims, attempted to talk to them. and then touched their buttocks over their clothing. The police believe the suspect is about 6 feet tall and 220-250 lbs.

The police claim he has was involved in four incidents on one day– with the victims ranging in age from 14 to 25:

The perpetrator first struck at 6:40 am at Northern Boulevard and 57th Street, where he touched a 23-year-old female victim. He then proceeded to 32-87 Steinway Street (Rite Aid) and touched a 25-year-old victim at 7:43 am.

The suspect then touched a 16-year-old female at 8:00 am at 38-01 35th Avenue. He struck again about 30 minutes later, when he touched a 14-year-old female at 37-15 31st Avenue.

Astoria doctor sentenced to more than two decades in prison for rape and sexual abuse: DA

An Astoria doctor was sentenced to 24 years in prison on Thursday in Queens Supreme Court for raping unconscious acquaintances and sexually abusing hospital patients.

Dr. Zhi Alan Cheng, 35, of Broadway, pleaded guilty on June 30 to four counts of rape in the first degree and three counts of sexual abuse in the first degree in satisfaction of the consolidated indictments against him. He additionally entered an Alford plea to one count of sexual abuse. The defendant — a former gastroenterologist at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital — recorded the abuse of his unconscious victims with his cell phone in both his Astoria apartment and at the hospital.
