Another pizzeria to open in Ditmars

June 5, 2014 By Michael Florio

A new pizzeria, called Razzies’s, will be opening at 29-04 Ditmars Blvd this August.

The owner, Harry Puccio, said he is still working on the menu but did note that it he will focus on pizza, pasta and panini.  He said he plans to accommodate vegetarians too by offering a range of options, such as eggplant and zucchini panini.

Puccio, an Italian immigrant who was raised in Astoria, said he will serve Sicilian style food, such as lasagna.

“The lasagna will be full of flavor,” he said. “It’s authentic Sicilian food, people will not be disappointed after eating here.”

The pizzeria will seat 17 inside and Puccio hopes add eight seats outside.

Met harry about ten years ago from a mutual friend. Very hard working man but more importantly a good friend. I wish him the best on his new venture. Heard from a mutual friend about his lasagna said it was the best he had ever had . quite different he said they use ring style pasta, peas etc. Can’t wait to try it.

i don’t understand the hype.. it’s pretty standard as far as pizza shops go. Pizza, pasta, panini. Hopefully the crust is good cause I haven’t had one pizza shop in astoria with good crust.
