A listening party was held last night under the Queensboro Bridge for the release of Nasir “Nas” Jones’ new album.

The party was held at an empty lot adjacent to the bridge, with an address of 41-98 Vernon Blvd. from about 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The location is less than a block away from the Queensbridge Houses, where Nas grew up.

The listening party for his new album “Nasir” was attended by several celebrities and music industry heads, including Kanye West, who produced the artist’s 11th studio album, Pusha T, Kim Kardashian, Chris Rock, and Havoc, of the Mobb Deep duo, also from the Queensbridge Houses.

The listening party also rerouted the Q102 and Q103 buses away from Vernon Boulevard, based on signs posted by social media users.
