The police are looking for a man who allegedly walked into a jewelry store on Steinway street Monday and walked out with a diamond ring without paying for it.
The man entered Zales Jewelers, located at 31-07 Steinway Street, at around 3:30 pm, asked the clerk to see a ring and then walked out with it once it was in his possession.
Police describe the man as white, with a tattoo sleeve on his arm.

You’d think a jewelery store would have better cameras.
All these crimes taking place in the middle of the day lately. Its frightening and sad.
