A man broke into an Astoria tobacco shop and stole $5,000 and nine cartons of cigarettes earlier this month, police said.

The suspect made his way into Tobacco-N-Vape, located at 33-18 31st Ave., on Jan. 16 at around 4:42 a.m. by breaking a lock at the store’s front entrance.

Try Kaufman/Silver Cup. Don’t know his name or whereabouts but have seen him walking around bragging about being an actor. Probably an extra / PA wannabe. He sometimes hangs out to purchase food at Key Food on newtown ave.
