Police are looking for an alleged pervert who groped a 14-year-old girl on a train in Astoria Wednesday morning.

The teen was sitting on a M train headed toward Forest Hills when the alleged groper — who was sitting beside the victim — touched her thigh and buttocks over her clothing at around 8 a.m., according to police.

The girl got off the train when it stopped at the Steinway Street subway station while the alleged creep followed her onto the platform and attempted to speak to her, police said.

The teen then fled the station to safety while the suspect got away on foot, cops said.

She was not injured during the incident and does not know the suspect, police said.

Police released a photo of the suspect wearing a gray and red-colored hooded puffer coat, gray pants, white sneakers and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/
