Man Fatally Struck By N Train

A man was fatally struck by an N train at 36 Avenue on Monday, according to officials.

An MTA spokesperson said that the man was hit by the train at approximately 10 a.m. after jumping onto the tracks. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The NYPD is not releasing his name or age.

N train service between Queensboro Plaza and Ditmars was subsequently suspended until 11:15 a.m., when service returned to normal, the MTA said.
