Man Beaten, Stabbed inside Astoria 7-Eleven: NYPD

June 3, 2019 By Laura Hanrahan

Police are searching for six men men wanted in connection with a brutal assault that took place inside an Astoria 7-Eleven last month.

On Friday May 24, around 11 p.m., the group of suspects chased a 25-year-old man into the 7-Eleven, located at 30-01 30 Ave., and began to physically assault him.

One of the suspects used a liquor bottle to hit the victim multiple times before the bottle eventually broke. The victim’s abdomen, chest, and arm were punctured by the glass bottle.

EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to Elmhurst General Hospital, police said.

The five suspects are seen in security camera footage from the 7-Eleven.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

Is there any more information? Did the victim know the attackers? What instigated the attack? Was it race/gender/religion motivated?

All of them look like they could be from the area. I am sure they will be caught soon.

According to every comment on this site, crimes are only committed by gentrifying-hipsters from flyover states, clawing for an overpriced studio in oh-so-precious-Astoria.

This attack couldn’t possibly have been perpetrated by some darling hooligans from the neighborhood!

Astoria is very diverse. Criminals come from all backgrounds and can live in any neighborhood.

The problem is that once they’re caught, Mayor Deblasio will release them the next day.

“Good boys” who never harmed anyone. As per our mayor , no bail required. They’ll be out in a couple of hours.

Yeah baby!! Bring back the pre-Giuliani era crime so that rents can become reasonable again and the hipster snowflake dipshits can slither back to where they came from and crawl under their mommy’s dress.

Where are the local politicians?

Let’s see if Gianaris, Constantinides, Simotas or any other useless Astoria politician does anything about this.

The don’t care about crime issues. Constantinides is busy protesting Target because Key Food greased his pocket. Gianaris is busy supporting late term abortion. Simotas is busy doing photo ops with new new garbage cans.

And all of them will get reelected without any meaningful opposition. Is Costa term-limited yet?

Astoria is not as safe or as family oriented as i thought. It is also loud, over priced and over rated by realtors and business people.

This and other assaults/crimes are on other social media outlets including local news stations. This I know because I watch or read about it every week or two. I own a home in LI and rent out my place in Astoria. Best move I made. I do not want my kids growing up in Astoria.

7-Eleven, located at 30-01 30 Ave and down the block is Astoria General hospital at 25-10 30th Ave yet the victim was transported to Elmhurst General Hospital. The people who grew up here are being pushed out. New buildings and higher prices in rentals and real estate and gentrifying the neighborhood bringing with it crime and people up to no good to make good on doing bad things to all the newbies and old folks living here. 114th PCT is a joke they dont do anything about it. Was never like this before. No upgrades in infrastructure. Bike lanes, No enforcement on bikes that run red lights, stop signs, going wrong way, No new trains. Poorly designed street grids funnel everyone to go slow and when they see an opening they seep up to be given a ticket by a camera hows that stop people getting hit. People dont even look both ways when they cross anymore its like Manhattan they thing your gonna see them and they can go anytime they please. New cameras instead of speed bumps that will slow a car down but cameras bring in $ after they have already broken the speed limit. Its a Joke. Tear down a 2 family house put a co-op /condo up in its place. Steinway a ghost town. Trains super packed.

Who said anything about minorities? Scum comes in all shapes, sizes, and races. Get back on the antabuse and lay off the Georgi vodka. Your hallucinations are getting worse. Any word from Costa? You hear anything?
