Man attempts to break into Astoria house, police catch him on tape

The police are trying to locate a man who allegedly tried to break into an Astoria house last month.

The suspect attempted to gain entry into 11-32 30th Road at around 4:10 am on Saturday, October 15. He failed to get in and then fled on foot.

The individual is described as a male Black, approximately in his 20’s and last seen wearing a dark gray hooded sweater, black jeans, white sneakers and carrying a black backpack, according to police.

Surveillance video of the individual was captured in front of the location.

Quite frankly, I’m more offended by the stucco and cheap windows. Who designed this? It’s an outrage.

Surveillance photos released of gunman sought in murder of East Elmhurst woman: NYPD

The NYPD on Tuesday released surveillance images of the suspected gunman who allegedly shot a young woman to death inside her East Elmhurst home on the night of Friday, Sept. 12.

Police from the 115th Precinct in Jackson Heights responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress at 26-30 96th St. at 9:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found 21-year-old Dashanna Donovan with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.
