A New Jersey man has been arrested for attempted murder in connection to a shooting on Steinway Street in December that left a woman dead and two others injured.

Quasawn Williams, 29, was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder for a shooting that took place outside an Astoria bar at around 4 a.m. on Dec. 23 that left Mye Johnson, an NYPD school safety officer, dead and her twin sister and a friend injured.

Police said that other suspects may be arrested and that the case is still under investigation.

The shooting occurred outside Solletto, located at 23-66 Steinway St., and left Johnson, 27, dead after being shot in the torso and leg. Meanwhile, her twin sister was shot in the left knee, while a 27-year-old man was struck in the buttocks and left shoulder.

Johnson was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital-Queens by EMS but couldn’t be saved. The two others were both transported by EMS to NYC Health & Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.

The shooting took place following a heated argument outside the bar. It is unclear what sparked the argument. All three victims had been inside Solletto before the shooting, police said.

Williams has also been arrested for criminal possession of a weapon.
