In Change of Plan, N Train Will Run on Regular Schedule this Weekend

Jan. 23, 2014 By Michael Florio

In a change of plans, the N-train will now run on its regular schedule this weekend, State Sen. Michael Gianaris said.

Originally, the MTA announced that the N train would not be running from Queensboro Plaza to Ditmars Blvd due to track work.

However, the work has been called off due to snow, the MTA confirmed.

“Mass transit is the lifeblood of our western Queens neighborhoods and too often we receive substandard service,” said Gianaris.
“I will continue to hold the MTA’s feet to the fire to ensure that we receive the quality and volume of service we deserve,” he continued.

It has yet to be announced when the track work will take place.
