Brooklyn Bagel to open a cafe in Ditmars, one block for current location

Coffee lovers are in luck.

A new café will be opening on the corner of Ditmars Blvd and 36th street, at 36-02 Ditmars Blvd.

The café will be owned by the proprietors of Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company, located just down the block at 35-09 Ditmars Blvd.

Workers are in the early stages of development.

A restaurant insider said it will focus on coffee, pastries and snacks. The plan is also to have an outdoor café.

Plans, such as the cafe’s name, are still being finalized. An opening date has yet to be determined.
