Astoria man is missing, NYPD needs help finding him

The police are seeking the public’s help in locating an Astoria man who was last seen in front of Elmhurst General Hospital.

Marcelino Ruiz, 61, who lives at 32-14 29th Street, was last seen at the hospital on August 1 at about 11:30 am.

Ruiz is described as approximately 5’10” tall, weighing 165 lbs., thin build, black eyes and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477)
