Astoria Deli Sells Winning Lottery Ticket Worth More than $50K

Two Queens delis sold winning lottery tickets worth upwards of $50,000 last week.

In Astoria, Stop-N-Go Astoria, located at 22-55 31st St., sold a winning Take 5 ticket worth $58,206 on Thursday, Jan. 30.

A few days later in Corona, Flor Azteca Deli & Grocery, located at 48-12 104th St., sold a winning Take 5 ticket worth $64,709 on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Neither winner has claimed their prize as of yet, a spokesperson for the New York State Gaming Commission said.

Each winner has up to a year from the date of drawing to claim their prize.

Take 5 winning numbers are drawn daily at 11:21 p.m.
