Dec. 26, 2016 Staff Report

MexiBBQ, a barbecue restaurant that has been located on 30th Avenue for the past six years, has closed.

The owners posted a notice on the front window of the 37-11 30th Avenue establishment thanking their customers for their loyalty.

“Thank you for all your patronage and making us one of the “go to” places in Astoria. We have had an amazing time being part of your birthday celebrations, burger and beer Mondays and, of course, your hangover brunches.”

The restaurant was best known for its southern barbecue, Mexican cuisine, margaritas and 48 beers on tap.
