Aerosoles

Oct. 10, 2017 By Tara Law

Shoe retailer Aerosoles, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month, will be closing several of its Queens locations.

The shoe retailer, which currently operates 78 stores across the country, will be shutting down its Astoria, Elmhurst and Bayside locations.

The shops at 90-15 Queens Blvd (at Elmhurst’s Queens Center Mall) and at 30-29 Steinway St in Astoria will close by December. The Bayside store, located in the Bay Terrace Shopping Center at 212-47 26th Ave., will operate until the end of the year.

All stores are currently offering a 30 to 50 percent discount on all items. The brand’s website is offering a 40 percent discount.

The company’s Forest Hills location, at 107-22 Continental Ave., is one of only four stores that will remain open nationally.

The other stores that will survive are in Manhattan and New Jersey.
