Guys this is too easy. Astoria Post is serving up fat pitches like I’m Cespedes. Two words: Westway Motel. Book it. Dolla straight, dolla box.

If you want to be correct, that address is on 34 Street, off 36 Ave but not on 36 Ave.
There are a couple of late night clubs there – 33rd st off 36 Ave Melrose Ballroom and some nameless big bar/club on the corner of 34th St and 36 Ave – I believe there was a stabbing or big bar brawl there earlier this year.
The crime is most likely related to something that happened in one of those bars. Maybe a drunk guy flashing a lot of cash and jewelery. Hopefully police can review some video taken by those establishments.

It’s ridiculous that de Blasio and his administration keep saying that crime is down. I wonder how they configure those numbers. How much do they actually play with them so that they look like they went down. Non stop lies.
Disgusting

One article of one robbery, and you scream, “Thanks de Blasio!” Thanks for the insightful contribution.

Couple of notes:
Since the rap club has opened on 36 ave. There have been two (2) drive by shootings, one (1) stabbing and now an armed assault and robbery. This is all within two blocks of three schools.
Open you eyes, since de blasio has been in office. Crime is up, gun possession is up. The police commissioners is quiting.
You elected a scam artist. Leave him alone he is having fun.
You got what you voted for.

What are you talking about Chris? Tru Restaurant is all the way down by Ditmars. Misty wrote about an establishment that is 100 feet from the incident.
The club on 34th St and 36 Ave better get its act together before it loses its liquor license.

Chris

But they opened at the same time and people that go there have cars doesn’t that mean they could be related?

Chris

Please walk me through how you were able to draw a line between the “rap club” opening and these crimes when other businesses also opened up around the same time.
