CityMD Opens Astoria Location

Dec. 23, 2013 By Christian Murray

CityMD celebrated the grand opening of its new 4,500 square foot state-of-the-art urgent care facility on Friday right in the heart of Astoria.

Located at 31-11 Steinway Street, CityMD Astoria will offer immediate care to sick, ill or injured Queens’ residents.

“I think it’s a great addition to Astoria,” says Jason Schmidt, a longtime Astoria resident, in a statement. “It’s a bonus to have a reputable and convenient medical office right in my neighborhood.”

Founded in 2010, CityMD has expanded to nine locations throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and now Queens.

“We are very excited about our recent expansions into Brooklyn and Queens. We look forward to becoming a strong contributor to these communities as we continue to provide high quality healthcare to all New Yorkers,” says CEO Dr. Richard Park.
