Spyce Astoria at 42-18 31st Ave. (ZoLa)

A man was punched outside Spyce Astoria on 31st Avenue earlier this week after an argument with his alleged assailant, according to police.

The 30-year-old victim was disputing with an unidentified man in front of the club at 42-15 31st Ave. at around 4 a..m. on March 3 when he was punched in the face by him.
The assailant then fled the location in a black BMW SUV, police said.
The victim had minor injuries to his face as a result of the attack, and refused medical attention at the scene.

Police describe the suspect as white, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, and with a light complexion. He has a short haircut, and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

Your lack of empathy is appalling, but not surprising. Being an addict doesn’t (inherently) make you a criminal, but it does make you a victim. It’s a disease and as a community we *should* find a way to help these folks, not vilify them. Try to focus your anger on the actual criminals and crimes they commit.
