Man shot at Ravenswood Houses last week, police looking for suspect

The police are looking for a suspect who shot a man in the arm at Ravenswood Houses in Astoria last week.

According to police, a masked man approached the victim at the back of 21-20 34st Avenue at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31.

The suspect displayed a fire arm and shot the 33-year-old man in the arm. The alleged perpetrator then fled the scene.

The suspect was described as black, about 30-years old, 5’7″, 160 lbs., and wearing gray slacks, a green construction vest, white sneakers and a yellow construction hat.

The victim was taken to NY Cornell Hospital.

And if a cop onfromts him and engages in gunfight, it’ll be the cops fault and all the hoodrats will be pulling out the cell phone cameras

Not Ravenswood’s houses right here in the picture. That is queens view which is right across the street
