Astoria is expensive for nothing , the only 2 .3 spots are ok around Broadway and 30 ave station and 31 ave as well, but if you go up or down is same like any area , i live here and i can’t even afford the rent just because of safety and commute to Manhattan,
What do you expect? That’s the bad part of Astoria. Neglected and forgotten.
Not all astoria is good just some spots i would say 30 ave,broadway,31ave. This what i see its save but if you go toward after sreinway is not good in my opinion.
That neighborhood is going to get a little more police presence as soon as the big Hallet’s Point buildings are done and filled – which I’m sure that they will be even though I don’t see why anybody would want to pay big money to live in that part of the hood.
No different than any other neighborhood sadly.
