Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a motorcycle accident that left a 22-year-old Woodside man dead on 23rd Avenue and Steinway Street last weekend.
Police originally reported that Nathaniel Gomez lost control of his motorcycle on Sunday at approximately 6 a.m. He was found laying on the road unconscious with trauma to his head and body.
However, a video of a man pacing back and forth at the scene indicated that there could be more to the incident. Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify this man, who is wanted for questioning.
The man wanted for questioning was seen on video released by the NYPD. He is described as between 40-50 years old and partially bald. He was last seen wearing a white button down shirt, blue sweat pants with a white stripe down the side, sandals and no socks.
EMS also responded to the scene last weekend, and transported Gomez to Elmhurst General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
