Lady Gaga visited Astoria last night for the opening of the Pomeroy on Ditmars Boulevard, where the head chef is a close friend.

The Pomeroy is located at 36-12 Ditmars Blvd., the old Buon Appetit Deli spot.

As the Astoria Post reported last week, the restaurant will offer New American cuisine in a gastropub-inspired setting. Chef Bo O’Connor designed the menu to encourage sharing and communal eating, inspired by traditions in Korean cuisine, she said.

O’Connor is a longtime friend of Lady Gaga’s and worked as the musician’s private chef on a worldwide tour, according to the Pomeroy team.
