Masked Gunman Robs Ditmars Wine Shop

The police are searching for a man who robbed a Ditmars Blvd wine shop at gun point.

The police said that the incident occurred around 8:25 pm Friday at Doctor Wine and Spirits, located at 46-16 Ditmars Blvd.

The perpetrator, who was wearing a ski mask, flashed his gun at the clerk and proceeded to snatch $800 from the register before running away.

Nobody was injured, police said.

The robber was described as 6-foot-2-inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt over the ski mask.
