Police search for man who stole $250 from 30th Street store

Police are searching for a man who stole $250 and several packets of cigarettes from a 30th Street store.

The suspect entered iKraveIt FOODs, located at 34-02 30th Street, when it was closed at about 6 am Sunday, police said.

He then took $250 and nine packs of Newport and Marlboro cigarettes from behind the counter, before fleeing the scene, according to the NYPD.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, who was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gloves, pants, hat, sneakers and a backpack.
