Greenbay Marketplace, the popular grocery store that offers organic food, has opened a second store across the street from its 32-06 Broadway location.

The new store, called Greenbay Essentials, opened about two weeks ago and is selling vitamins, supplements and beauty supplies at its 32-19 Broadway site.

“Business has been good since we opened,” said Al Ozbek, the manager.

Greenbay Essentials offers a large selection of organic vitamins, all-natural supplements, as well as organic soap and shampoo, Ozbek said.

The new store has an organic juice bar and espresso bar. Customers will also be able drink organic coffee and buy items such as exotic cheese, vegan salads and vegan sandwiches.

Greenbay Essentials has 15 seats in the backyard and customers of either store can eat there.

Greenbay Marketplace will continue to offer fruits and vegetables, organic groceries, a full line of organic and conventional dairy products, homemade sausages, cheeses from all over the world, frozen organic and gluten free meals, such as pizza and burgers, and ice cream.
