Peter Vallone Jr.

Nov. 14, 2013 By Christian Murray

City Council member Peter Vallone Jr.’s tires were slashed, according to a posting he made on his Facebook page.

The incident occurred sometime on Wednesday, while his car was parked at home.

“Hey punk who slashed my tires, perhaps you missed the video cameras on my house?” he wrote on Facebook. “i’ll be SEEing you soon.”

Vallone first noticed the problem after he was driving to an event when he felt something wrong with his car, the Times Ledger reported. After he got his auto to the shop, he was told that the tires were indeed slashed.

Vallone’s house is equipped with police-installed surveillance cameras. The NYPD is reviewing the tapes.
