Man punched construction worker, fled with tools, according to NYPD

The police are looking for a man who allegedly went onto a construction site, punched a worker and fled with construction tools.

The suspect allegedly walked onto the 37-27 10th Street construction site at around 2 pm Thursday March 12, approached a 29-year-old construction worker, punched him and then fled with a Hilti drill, a camera and two nail guns, according to police.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6’0″ tall, 200 lbs, wearing a black hat, blue jeans and a brown coat.

The suspect was seen pushing a grocery cart when the incident occurred.

The police have surveillance video from the construction site.
