Two men allegedly broke into Hanac Center on multiple occasions, stole iPads and cameras

Two men are wanted for breaking into the Hanac Community Center on multiple occasions and stealing iPads, cameras and gift cards.

The first incident occurred when the men allegedly entered the office, located at 23-16 30th Avenue, on Friday, March 6, at around 10:30 am and walked out with an iPad 2, according to police.

The following Sunday, March 8, the suspects allegedly broke into the Community Center overnight into March 9 and stole a Sony camera and two iPad tablets.

The men then broke into the center again overnight March 9-10 and allegedly pried open the rear window and removed gift cards and assorted tools.

The police said one of the suspects is believed to be a black male in his 20’s, while the other is a light-skinned male in his 20’s.

The police released a video of the suspects.

A Brooklyn man was indicted by a Queens grand jury on charges of manslaughter, drunk driving and other crimes for a fatal collision in Astoria that killed his long-time girlfriend and mother of their young child in February.

Ray Perez, 27, of Caton Avenue in Flatbush, was arraigned Thursday in Queens Supreme Court on a 13-count indictment charging him with vehicular manslaughter for allegedly speeding through a stop sign in Astoria, colliding with another vehicle and slamming into two parked cars, and then driving nearly four miles away to a street in Maspeth before seeking help for his 29-year-old girlfriend Bridget Enriquez, who later succumbed to her injuries.
