The police are looking for two Hispanic women who allegedly pushed a 44-year-old female to the ground and then took her purse.

Police said the incident occurred around noon on December 2 in the vicinity of 31-36 44th Street.

The suspects fled the scene with the victim’s purse that contained her credit cards and keys.

The victim was removed to Elmhurst Hospital where she was treated for lacerations to her head.

Any friends want to rent a 36sq ft room for $3000 per month. They are available at Westway…..just have the city pay.

Anything East of 42nd Street on Broadway is filled with day laborers and people wandering around from the nearby housing projects. Always crime here! The only assault I had in ten years of Astoria occurred here. Will be a great day when this area is finally razed and developed.
