Man stabbed on Ditmars, left in critical condition

CrimeTapeSmallDec. 24, 2014 By Michael Florio

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed on Ditmars Blvd Friday night.

The victim, 23, was found on the ground with three stab wounds to his back in front of 35-11 Ditmars Blvd. at 10:45 pm, police said. The victim was conscious when he was taken to a local hospital—although he is in critical condition.

The police initially responded to the scene after they were told the man had been struck by a car.

The suspect remains at large and police are asking anyone with any information on this perpetrator to call 1-800-577-TIPS.

Correction: This article initially read: Ditmars Avenue. That was a typo based on a police report that has been edited to Ditmars Blvd.
