The owners of Flo Lounge Restaurant, located at 37-20 30th Ave, will be opening a second venue in Astoria.
The venue, called Baroque, will be a bar and lounge, and will open before the end of the year, according to Sounni de Fontenay, Manager of Flo Lounge Restaurant.
According to de Fontenay, the owners are keeping most of the details of the venue under wraps, but said it will be a large venue featuring a full bar, bottle service, lots of tables and will have DJs.
“It’s going to bring a new and exciting aspect to Astoria’s night life,” he said.
He added that the owners wanted to open the venue in Astoria.
However, de Fontenay said the owners do not want to announce the address yet.
One source said that the location will be on Steinway Street, near 20th Avenue. It will compete with Central, which is located at 20-30 Steinway Street.

This place is terrible. Owners are terrible. Servers are terrible. I love this european atmosphere but the last time I went I had a rude chunky asian girl waitress. She was so snotty and chatty with her co-workers, she made me not want to come back ever again! UGH!
