Two armed men pushed their way into an Astoria man’s home last Wednesday and demanded cash and drugs, according to police.
Police said suspects arrived at the victim’s 31st Avenue (near 12th Street) home about 12:11 am Wednesday. The victim reacted by jumping on top of one of the armed men to get rid of them. However, the other suspect shot the 29-year-old victim in the leg.
The police said that the victim refused to help them with the case.
The suspects are believed to be two black males. They fled on foot.

not surprising that this happened, this area is very close to the projects.
And what do the projects have to do with it ? Nothing you assuming the men are from the projects for all I know those armed men could be from your block
