A spicy Latin restaurant is set to open on 30th Ave.

Mezquite Pollos A La Brasa, a Mexican and Peruvian restaurant, is opening this Friday at 45-06 30th Ave.

The restaurant will feature Peruvian style seafood, such as fish cooked with citrus sauce as well as a deep fried seafood mix with salsa criolla.

The restaurant will also offer traditional Mexican items, such as Enchiladas and grilled surf and turf.

It will also offer empanadas, tamales, salads, along with sides such as rice and beans, and mashed potatoes. For snacks there will be Esquites (which is special corn with cheese and epazote) as well as French fries, frankfurters and nachos.

The owners, currently, do not have a liquor license and are encouraging customers to bring their own wine.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week, opening at 11 am every day and closing at 11 pm Sunday through Thursday–and at midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

The restaurant will seat 40 people and will offer free delivery.
