New gym at affordable prices to open on Steinway Street

Aug. 15, 2013 By Christian Murray

A new gym is scheduled to open on Steinway Street this fall—where the price is a mere $15 per month.

Blink Fitness, which is part of a growing chain of health clubs across the Tri-state area, will open an Astoria location at 32-27 Steinway St., between Broadway and 34th Ave., this fall. A worker was unable to provide an actual date.

Blink Fitness is in expansion mode. Currently it is operating in 16 locations; however, it is in the process of opening nine more—including the Astoria gym.

The monthly fee for membership to multiple locations is $20.
