Police are searching for four suspects who allegedly carjacked a man at gunpoint in the Dutch Kills section of Long Island City early Friday.

The victim, 48, was sitting in his parked Toyota RAV 4 — a crossover SUV — at the intersection of 40th Avenue and 24th Street at around 5 a.m. when the group approached him, according to police.

One of the suspects displayed a gun before the group ordered the man out of the vehicle and demanded his keys, police said.

The victim got out of the RAV 4 and the assailants then stole his vehicle. The suspects fled westbound on 40th Avenue in the RAV 4, police said.

The man’s backpack and wallet were inside the stolen vehicle. The victim was not injured.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
