A 16-year-old girl was punched in the face and had her hand bitten while standing on a subway platform in Long Island City Monday during morning rush hour.
The teen was on the 39th Ave. N/W platform at around 8:35 a.m. when an individual approached her and attempted to take her cellphone.
The suspect became enraged when the robbery attempt failed and punched the teenager in the mouth, pulled her hair and bit her. The suspect then fled.
The victim did not require hospitalization although she did sustain a large laceration to her hand from the bite.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

Looks like someone (probably “them/they”) who could not decide on “their” gender yet wanted to get “their” reparations.
Disgusting…this city sucks…too many mentally I’ll persons in shelter around there
Yeah, it’s disgusting to have so many keyboard psychologists who label anybody who commits a crime as “mentally ill” instead of saying “he/she is a criminal and should be incarcerated”. The emperor has no clothes..
