Teenage Male Fatally Shot in East Elmhurst Thursday: NYPD

An 18-year-old male was fatally shot in a 3-family house in East Elmhurst Thursday evening, police said.

The teenager was found shot outside the front door at 30-38 74th St. by an individual who heard shots fired at approximately 6:30 p.m. The victim was driven to Elmhurst Hospital by private means where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing. A police spokesperson had no other information on the incident at press time.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
