Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a married couple in Astoria Saturday night and stole their cash and credit cards.

The group surrounded a 43-year-old man and his 35-year-old wife as they were walking in front of 14-14 26th Ave. at around 10:20 p.m., according to police.

One of the suspects produced a metal pipe and then demanded money from the couple, police said.

The 43-year-old man handed over his wallet which contained $50 cash and credit cards. The suspects did not steal anything from the woman, police said.

The suspects then fled on foot eastbound along 26th Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Police said that neither of the victims sustained any injuries.

Police released a video of one of the suspects wanted for questioning.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).

Suggestion: With the out of control crime in DeBlasio’s NYC, maybe only one post a week with an attached spreadsheet listing all of the rapes, armed robberies, shootings, etc. (sorry, I mean non-violent offenses). Completely Unrelated: maybe we should accelerate the closing of Rikers Island.

Must be supporters who have to rob to put food in their stomachs while they collect benefits to supplement their drug habits. Keep voting progressive!!!

Do you think maybe you could give a better description of these three “suspects”? Height, weight clothing, age, or, heaven forbid, race? Otherwise, why even bother publishing the account?

I’m not sure. This article doesn’t mention immigrants or immigration, did you read it?

Progressive social democrats. They promote the appearance of good and charitable people but in reality they are just wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Worse than that, they appeal to the good-intentions of the naive, who become their useful idiots.

The president that didn't build a wall?

No wall, no payment from Mexico. Why does Trump want open borders?

The article and the comment didn’t mention Trump. You must think about him a lot.
